Wave 3 Freediver - Master

The Wave 3 Freediver course is our master and assistant instructor course. Designed to bring you down to 40 meters (120 ft) on one breath, you will also learn techniques and skills to be an assistant instructor and get you ready for the instructor course. Includes deep safety and rescue skills, mastering the mouthful and reverse packing. You will also begin learning how to teach the Molchanovs method or education.

Prerequisites

18 years of age (16 with parental consent)
Comfortable in an open water setting
Can swim >200m in open water
Understand use of freediving gear
Wave 2 Certificate or similar experience
Cross-over evaluation available
Active first aid certificate
Sign medical questionnaire and liability form

Open water buddying/safety from 20m
Open water depth rescue from 20m
Surface tow post depth-rescue & rescue breaths
Deep retrieval rescue at 30m
Self-rescue techniques
Mouthful (MF) and FRC techniques
